My name is Amanda Gardiner and i am in the BEd program at <a class="wiki_link_ext" href="http://www.stu.ca/" rel="nofollow">St. Thomas University</a>. I am 22 years old, i have grown up in Fredericton, New Brunswick and i am very excited to become an elementary school teacher here in my home town. I graduated from <a class="wiki_link_ext" href="http://leohayeshigh.nbed.nb.ca/" rel="nofollow">Leo Hayes High School</a>in 2004 and received my Bachelor of Arts Degree in the Spring of 2008. I grew up playing a variety of sports, i love being outdoors and relaxing at the camp throughout the summer. I have spent the past few years volunteering at an elementary school. This is where i realized that teaching is what i want to do with my life. I enjoy time with family, friends and i would love to travel and see as much of the world as i possibly can. My experiences involving technology are quite limited. I use the internet, e-mail and most Microsoft Office programs. Therefore i am very excited about this course and the variety of new things that i will learn.
